Mr. Middleton
Is the "2nd Highest Ranking Instructor In Kansas City"

He has an unprecedented  2  "Best Black Belt Tests" (June of 1996 & June 2003).  Mr. Middleton held the title of "Competitor Of The Year" for three consecutive years (until this award was retired)

Mr. Middleton started practicing Chinese Kenpo in 1981.  He was ranked 1st "Nationally"  in Kenpo forms, sparring and weapons during his tournament training.  With over 100 placings and awards, including "Instructor Of The Year".

He is instructed by Mr. Gibbins, who has been in business for over 25 years.  Mr. Gibbins has also won "Black Belt Of The Year" and "Manager Of The Year" with AKKA.

Katie Middleton

Mrs. Middleton started with AKKA in 1997. She is testing for her fourth degree black belt this winter. Her favorite kata is Long 4 and she has too many favorite techniques to pick just one. Her favorite martial arts movie stars are Jackie Chan, Jet Li and any woman who can hold her own.

Shannon McCain
Ms. McCain started with AKKA in 1998. She is testing for her fourth degree black belt this winter.

Stacy Beach
Mrs. Beach started with AKKA in 1999. In 2005, she received the award for the Most Improved Student.

Todd Linard
Mr. Linard started with AKKA in 2001. He is testing for his second degree black belt this winter. His favorite kata is Long 4 and his favorite techniques are Seven Swords and Thundering Hammers.

Chris Fahnestock
Mr. Fahnestock is testing for his second degree black belt this winter. His favorite quote:
"Would you tell me please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the cat.
"I don't much care where," said Alice.

Kyle Schee
Mr. Schee started with AKKA in 2002. His favorite kata is Tiger Hunt and his favorite technique is Avoiding the Viper. His favorite martial arts movie star is Jackie Chan.

Dylan Schee
Mr. Schee started with AKKA in 2002. He received his second degree black belt this summer. His favorite kata is Long 5 and his favorite technique is Hand of Death.

Dakota Schee
Ms. Schee started with AKKA in 2002. She received her third degree black belt this summer. She's found that karate has helped her hold her own against her two older brothers.

Andrew Hanchette
Mr. Hanchette started with AKKA in 2005. He received his first degree black belt this summer. His favorite kata is Boxing Form and his favorite techniques are Chop to the Right, Eagle's Beak and Striking Fang. His favorite director of martial arts movies is Quentin Tarantino.
