About Our School

The American Kenpo Karate Association consists of schools throughout Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Texas, and Mexico. AKKA is a highly motivated, success-minded and goal-orientated professional Karate organization that is totally committed to the students enrolled in its academies. It extends to students all the benefits Karate has to offer through a systematized, charted, belt-goal oriented system.

AKKA Gladstone was opened in 2002 by manager and head instructor Sam Middleton as the fifth branch of the organization in the Kansas City area. Since then, students of AKKA Gladstone have earned over 35 black belt degrees, and many more students are currently benefiting from the physical and mental aspects of studying kenpo on their journey to earning their blackbelt.
